Daylight Savings Time R U in?

I was telling someone in line with me today how much I hate winter.  The truth is we always  need to hibernate.  Our bodies and minds just crave it. It forces us to think about the things we avoid when busy with our lives. This year, I will start by being thankful I have a warm house and food. Avista  and Utilities take contributions toward water and heat.Second Harvest can provide six pounds of food (five meals) for each dollar donated! Make a ripple and see what happens.

Who would you give a standing ovation?

Who is your hero?  One of mine is Ellen D. She is funny, smart and most of all finds humor in almost everything. Because of her, I laugh every day. Because of her I get to think of other persons who I appreciate. When was the last time you laughed? When was the last time you really let someone know how much you appreciated them? Give them a standing ovation.  Make a ripple and see what happens.

Take a moment, share a moment

In our busy lives, it is all too easy to get overwhelmed! Try taking a moment every day to find peace and gratitude. Then send the peace and gratitude to someone else, or to everyone. It takes so little time and can make all the difference for you, and others. Make a ripple and see what happens.

Small gestures can mean so much

This site is dedicated to taking personal responsibility for making a change for the better in this world, small changes. Think back to a time when you were having a bad day and someone smiled at you or touched your shoulder. Just being acknowledged changed your day. Make a ripple and see where it goes.
